PINC cancer rehab program - EBR Physio Bentleigh East

What is the treatment method?

The PINC Cancer Rehab Program has been specifically developed to maximise recovery, regain physical and emotional strength and to improve body confidence and control for women diagnosed with cancer. The Program is delivered by certified PINC Cancer Physios and has been designed to offer support and guidance through every stage of treatment and recovery.

What does the PINC program involve?

  • Assessment: your Physio will have a chat with you about your condition. They will take a medical history, review your symptoms and may do various tests and measures to ensure they have a good understanding of your issue.
  • Your physio will discuss the areas that you’re finding challenging and create a individualised exercise program to address these .
  • Your program can help you:
    • regain strength & flexibility and confidence in your body, improve fatigue, core strength and posture.
    • ease pain and muscular tension.
    • help increase energy levels during and after cancer treatments.
  • Your physio will provide guidance and advice on how to safely & effectively resume activity and maximise recovery.

The PINC program is suitable before or after any type of cancer surgery or treatment and accommodates all ages, fitness levels and mobility.
