Our health care services have been expanding with the growth of the practice over 50 years and we look forward to continuing to grow in response to our patients’ needs. Michael Wynne

Michael Wynne


MICHAEL WYNNE became the principal of the practice in 1996. His specialities include complex back and neck pain, headaches including TMD (jaw pain), knee pain and sporting injuries. Michael has completed a graduate certificate in hydrotherapy, practises Dry Needling & Clinical Pilates and in 2012 became a certified teacher of ‘Innovations in Pilates’. He has been a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and has lived in the area for his entire life. Michael lives locally with his wife Miriam and their two children Zara and Levi. He enjoys walking, bike riding and travelling.
Nick Kee

NICK joined EBR Physio in 2012. Nick completed a Bachelor of Science from the University of Queensland as well as a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Monash University. As a physio he has worked with veteran hockey players, and has extensive experience in private practice. He has vast experience in Clinical Pilates and his special interests include back problems, strength and conditioning, tendinopathies (Achilles & Rotator Cuff syndrome) and BPPV (dizziness).
Nick has been an international competitor in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.


Av Kumar


AV has a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne with extensive experience in Sports Medicine and private practice. He also works with Cycling Victoria, Cricket Victoria, Footscray Cricket Club and Old Haileybury Amateur Football Club in the VAFA. Av works closely with current and former Olympians, former NBA athletes and current Australian boomers with his involvement as Team Physiotherapist with South East Melbourne Phoenix. Av was a Research Officer at La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Centre contributing to a large study on the accelerated development of knee OA after an ACL reconstruction.   His has a special interest treating sporting injuries including basketball, cricket and football.  He also loves treating general back and neck pain! Av volunteers as a coffee barista at his church so is interested in the best local coffee. He enjoys all sports especially snowboarding. Av barracks for West Coast Eagles.

BEN graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2008.  He has extensive experience in Clinical Pilates, orthopaedic injuries, sport and spinal injuries and helping people with chronic pain.  Ben focuses on retraining biomechanical problems in order to fix short term and long-term problems.  Ben has worked with Glen Eira Football Club, Caulfield Grammar Football Club and also with the Victorian Squad for the National Touch Football Championships. 
He has a special interest in knee injuries, headaches as well as neck and back pain.

Ben plays high-level hockey and has competed in international tournaments.


Alex Ho


ALEX completed a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the Curtin University in Perth and then relocated to Victoria.  His special interests include neck and back pain, tendinopathy, hip and knee OA prevention and management. Alex has completed further training as a GLA:D certified practitioner, delivering comprehensive education and evidence-based treatment to individuals with hip and knee OA.  He also practises Dry-needling, Rock-taping and Clinical Pilates.   Outside of work Alex enjoys travelling and playing badminton. . Alex speaks Mandarin and Cantonese fluently.

Rosemary Moore

Respiratory Physiotherapist

Rosemary has over 30 years’ experience as a Cardiorespiratory physiotherapist.  She trained in Melbourne and completed postgraduate training at LaTrobe University and The University of Melbourne.  

She sees respiratory patients who require individualised home programs including:
• airway clearance techniques, to clear phlegm from the lungs
• structured exercise programs, for people who are unable to attend a centre-based rehabilitation program
• breathing control techniques, for patients who have breathlessness or breathing discomfort.

Rosemary consults at our Bentleigh East rooms on Tuesday mornings.

Miriam Wynne


MIRIAM has been part of the team at EBR Physio since 2009.  Although she works mostly behind the scenes Miriam loves engaging with patients and especially enjoys seeing generations of families return for treatment.   Also Michael’s partner, Miriam applies her complementary skills to keep everything running smoothly.

Outside of work Miriam enjoys walking, reading and eating all kinds of Asian food.


Natalie Hastie


NATALIE joined EBR Physio in 2019 as our full-time receptionist. Natalie heads a team of bright young people who assist with reception after hours. Natalie is passionate about customer service and her friendly voice and smile are more than likely to be your first point of contact on the phone or in person.

Originally from Adelaide, Natalie now calls Melbourne her home. She is a passionate supporter of the North Melbourne Football Club.  Natalie enjoys spending time with her husband, their two grown-up daughters and two fluffy dogs.

Appointments for physiotherapy treatment may be made by calling our receptionist on 9570 1254 or through our website using the BOOK NOW link.
All appointments are 30 minutes, one-on-one with a physiotherapist. We will usually be able to see you the same or following day.

Please take note that we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please notify us ASAP so that we may reschedule another time. Non-attendance and late cancellation will incur a fee.


Referral from a doctor is not necessary to attend this practice. If you have a gold or white DVA card, or are under the Medicare CDM (previously known as EPC) program then a referral is required.


We are an approved provider for Private Health Insurance Funds.   We are a part of the HCF ‘More for Muscles’ programme which gives HCF members with Extras cover one fully covered initial assessment per calendar year, meaning no out of pocket costs.


We also accept Medicare (under the CDM scheme), Workcover, Comcare, DVA, and TAC patients.  For your convenience we have HICAPS which means that we can claim from your private health fund directly. For more payments and billing information please visit our FAQs.
