Partnering with Specialists for Seamless Patient Care

Most frequent EBR Physio questions and answers

Welcome to EBR Physio

At EBR Physio in Bentleigh East, we’ve been supporting local families and their healthcare needs for many years. Our team takes pride in working alongside specialists to ensure patients receive clear, consistent, and effective pathways from prehab through to full recovery.

We recognise that your time is valuable and that your patients’ outcomes reflect on your reputation as well as ours. That’s why we focus on making collaboration effortless: timely communication, evidence-based rehabilitation, and care plans aligned with your preferred surgical protocols.

Why Partner with Us?

  • Streamlined pathways – from pre-operative preparation to structured post-operative rehab, we help your patients achieve smoother recoveries.
  • Continuity of care – we ensure your patients receive consistent, high-quality physiotherapy that supports your surgical or medical treatment.
  • Evidence-based practice – our treatment approach combines hands-on physiotherapy with structured exercise, hydrotherapy, and Clinical Pilates.
  • Patient-centred communication – we deliver clear explanations, simple education, and support that empowers patients to take an active role in their recovery.

Our Services

  • Prehabilitation – building strength, mobility, and confidence before surgery.
  • Post-operative rehabilitation – procedure-specific care to optimise outcomes.
  • Hydrotherapy – targeted water-based therapy where clinically appropriate.
  • Return-to-sport programs – progressive strength and conditioning to safely resume activity.
  • Complex and persistent pain management – tailored strategies for chronic musculoskeletal issues.
  • Injury management – from acute presentations to long-term recovery support.

Our on-site rehabilitation gym and access to hydrotherapy allow us to provide a full spectrum of care under one roof.

How We Collaborate With Specialists

When you refer a patient to us, you can expect:

  • Regular updates on progress, tailored to your preferred level of detail.
  • Concise discharge summaries at the end of care.
  • Prompt escalation if a patient’s recovery is not progressing as expected.
  • Alignment with your protocols – we are familiar with pathways across hospitals such as Holmesglen, Cabrini, and Linacre, and are always happy to adapt to your preferred approach.
  • Partnership opportunities – where appropriate, our physiotherapists welcome the chance to observe surgery (with permissions and patient consent) and to co-develop clear, simple, procedure-specific rehabilitation guidelines for your most common cases.

Our goal is to act as an extension of your team — making rehabilitation seamless, consistent, and aligned with your standards.
