East Bentleigh Hydrotherapy & Aquatherapy
What is Hydrotherapy used for?
We are able to help many conditions in hydrotherapy. Hydrotherapy is especially beneficial for:
- Back pain
- Post surgical rehab
- Injury rehabilitation
Where can you do Hydrotherapy with EBR?
We use the pool of the Bentleigh Bayside Community Health Centre in Gardeners Road in East Bentleigh. This is a purpose built hydro pool maintained at a comfortable 33 to 34.5° C.
How long does a hydroptherapy session last?
Each class is 50 minutes long. However, allow for an hour at least to change and dry off.
How many people are in a class?
We conduct hydrotherapy classes within a group setting to minimise costs, we personalise and make the exercises as interesting and rewarding as possible.
Often you will be able to continue your exercises independently once a regime has been established.
How do I join the Hydrotherapy class?
If you are a current patient please speak to your physio about being added to the class.
If you are a new patient or haven’t seen us recently then you will need to have an assessment at our rooms before you can join the Hydrotherapy class. Book an assessment.
Please note these classes are suitable even for non-swimmers.
Can I claim Physio Exercise classes through my health insurance?
All of our classes are conducted by registered Physiotherapists & are claimable through private health insurance extras.
At EBR Physio we pride ourselves in offering our patients the latest technologies to help you achieve your outcomes.
