What is Physio Exercise?
Physiotherapists combine their in-depth understanding of anatomy and physiology with the Pilates exercise system resulting in Physio Exercise.
This can be applied to rehabilitation purposes and as an exercise-based physiotherapy treatment technique. It is the natural progression from treatment towards self-management.

Physio Exercise is suitable for people of all age groups and fitness levels, as it is a low-impact form of exercise varying in difficulty and intensity, and is closely supervised and instructed by your physiotherapist.

What Classes does EBR Physio offer?
Individual & Small group (max 4 people) sessions
A combination of mat, fit-ball, foam roller, Pilates reformer, Pilates Wunda chair & Pilates trapeze exercises, all tailored to your specific needs.
1 on 1 Classes: 30 minutes
Small Group Classes: 45 minutes
*Discounts are available for small group sessions and pre-purchased class packs, (5 or 10)
Before joining a group class you must have an initial assessment for the physio to assess your physical & medical health & to individually ensure you grasp the principles of the exercises and are performing movements correctly.
What to wear and bring to a Physio Exercise session?

All of our classes are conducted by registered Physiotherapists & are claimable through private health insurance extras.
EBR Aquatic Physiotherapy Bentleigh East
Hydrotherapy also known as Aquatic Physiotherapy is exercises performed in a warm pool.
What is Hydrotherapy used for?
We are able to help many conditions in hydrotherapy. Hydrotherapy is especially beneficial for:

Where can you do Hydrotherapy with EBR?
We use the pool of the Bentleigh Bayside Community Health Centre in Gardeners Road in East Bentleigh. This is a purpose built hydro pool maintained at a comfortable 33 to 34.5° C.
How long does a hydroptherapy session last?
Each class is 50 minutes long. However, allow for an hour at least to change and dry off.
How many people are in a class?
We conduct hydrotherapy classes within a group setting to minimise costs, we personalise and make the exercises as interesting and rewarding as possible.
Often you will be able to continue your exercises independently once a regime has been established.
Please note these classes are suitable even for non-swimmers.

At EBR Physio we pride ourselves in offering our patients the latest technologies to help you achieve your outcomes.
To create your tailored exercise programs we use an app called PhysiApp.
PhysiApp lets you complete your prescribed exercise program by following crystal-clear, narrated exercise videos.
PhysiApp is completely free to download from the App store and Google Play store or can be accessed via your browser. Built-in reminders help you to stay on track towards a better you!
